Fire the dead.
Fire the stagnant.
Fire the inflexible.
Fire those your customers do not like.
Fire those who state “this isn’t a good fit”. They are merely communicating, “I don’t care about what you have going on in this company, it’s my world up in here and I am not willing to conform to your needs, the customers or company’s needs or the teams needs”
Fire those who speak ill of former bosses; more than likely it was them.
Fire the entitled.
Fire those with a bad attitude.
Fire those who focus on where they want to go but not where the vision of the company is going.
Fire those who who think they know about your company but they don’t know what your company does.
Fire the unmotivated.
Fire those who do not follow their job role description.
Fire those who are not willing to put in the sweat equity to learn about their job role.
Fire those who do not respect the companies, customers, managements time.
Fire those who keep deviating from company policy.
Fire those who have poor communication skills.
Fire those who fail to do any research on your company.
Fire dream killers.
Fire the gossipers.
Fire energy depleters.
Fire those who dream teIm(team); for there is no I in team.
Fire the in subordinates.
Fire the oppositional.
Fire complainers.
Fire those who lack initiative.
Fire those who can not handle constructive feedback or say “no one has ever told me that”. More than likely if you are an exec or manager, your job is to audit; it’s them not you; your observations are correct. Trust, they have heard it before.
Fire those who lack the will to learn.
Fire those who ruminate over compensation.
Fire those who focus more on their needs than the needs of your company.
Fire those who treat your receptionist or other staff members badly.
I could go on and on, fire anyone who does not enhance the goals of your company.
Each time you cut a check to anyone, you are investing. Cut your losses.
If you are still investing in those who should have been fired a long time ago, it’s their win and you are losing.
Continue to vet people. They show their true colors within 7-30 days of being hired. Do not ignore the warning signs.
Don’t allow those with the “fired mentality” to make ripples in your company that could potentially cause a wave of destruction.
Be A BOSS!!!
Fire TODAY!!!
What say you? What are some patterns that you look for in the hiring and firing process?
